Reading adventures in the public library

In the past few weeks, the children of the second year visited the Gronau public library. There they learned all about the library's cultural offerings. Of course, they also wanted to awaken their love of reading and their own imagination.

The young visitors were enthusiastic about the variety of books. Works about YouTube stars, animal fantasy stories, mangas and comics were particularly popular. Those who already had a membership card were able to borrow books directly. Registration forms were available for everyone else, which were quickly sold out after the visit. This is a sign that many children would like to continue using the library's services in the future.

The Gronau public library is a central cultural institution in the town. Together with its branch, the library in Epe, it offers almost 80,000 media units for loan. In addition to non-fiction books, novels and books for children and young people, the range also includes numerous music and children's CDs, DVDs, Tonies® and TipToi® media. As a municipal educational and leisure facility, the library is open to all citizens and offers a wide range of events for all generations.

Special thanks go to the team at the Gronau public library, who took a lot of time for the children and gave them an exciting insight into the world of books. The visit was an enriching experience for everyone involved.
