As a reward for the very active participation of class 3c in the "Walk to school" campaign, the pupils asked for a special activity: an hour of yoga. This wish was gladly fulfilled by Ms. Wigger, a parent of one of the children in the class.
Ms. Wigger, who already regularly comes to read to the class, got involved again and offered a professional yoga lesson for the children. Her experience in the gymnastics club and her knowledge of yoga made it possible to carry out the exercises in an age-appropriate way. The pupils really enjoyed the yoga class and were able to relax in a playful way and get some exercise at the same time.
On behalf of the class management and the entire class 3c, we would like to thank Ms. Wigger for her time and commitment to this great project!
Class 4a used the last lesson before the vacations for a desired, unscheduled sports lesson in the gym. The pupils had wanted to spend this time actively, focusing on their own ideas and wishes. They also received the sports lesson as a reward for their dedicated participation in the "Walk to School" campaign.
As it was the last lesson before the vacations, the children were able to let off steam to their heart's content and start their well-deserved vacation full of energy and anticipation.
