On the last Tuesday before the vacations, the school Christmas caroling took place in the gym. The entrance to the gymnasium was artistically decorated by the children to herald in the festive season. All classes gathered in the sports hall to bring the pre-Christmas period to a musical close together. The songs had been practiced intensively in music lessons since the end of November.
The song selection was in the hands of Mr. Zellner. The Christmas caroling was musically accompanied by Ms. Dalhaus, who deserves a big thank you. The program offered a successful mix of funky, fast-paced songs as well as emotional pieces that were intended to inspire reflection. One song proved to be particularly popular and may have replaced the classic "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei" in many classes: "Tausend tolle Plätzchen" has become a real hit among schoolchildren. The program was complemented by a few songs from the previous Tuesday's church service, which went well with the festive mood. Happy and encouraged, the school day then resumed its usual course.
