At the start of the new school year, the staff at Buterland School once again welcomed the new first graders. A special welcome awaited the children at the school entrance: the second and third graders formed a cheerful trellis and waved colorful scarves. With bright colors and friendly waving, they created a festive atmosphere that made it easier for the youngest children to start their new phase of life. The official welcome to the school enrolment ceremony was given by the acting principal, Mrs. Hüning. She warmly welcomed the children, their families and all the guests.
This was followed by an entertaining musical performance by the fourth graders, which was met with great enthusiasm. The plot of the play revolved around the children falling behind with their school enrolment preparations. Professor Dinkelstein tries to save the party with his invention, the "Einschulomat 3000". But instead of enabling the children to start school, the event suddenly turns into a Christmas party before the children even travel to the year 2024. Whether they make it back to the present remains exciting until the end. The story was accompanied by modified Christmas carols and songs from the Muppet Show, which made the performance particularly lively and humorous.
The fourth graders had rehearsed intensively in advance - before the summer vacation and on the first day of school. With their commitment, they wanted to give their protégés an unforgettable and motivating start to the school day.
The staff at Buterland School wish you a wonderful time at school full of exciting experiences, new friendships and lots of fun learning!
