Removal helper for raised bed

The raised bed is currently still in front of the old building. As a construction site for a building conversion will be built here in the future, a new solution had to be found for the location. The beginning of spring was therefore used to make initial preparations and prepare the raised bed for later relocation.

Several children volunteered to help with the campaign. But first, the good plants that were still in the bed had to be moved. For this purpose, the small bed in front of the entrance to the OGS was also quickly cleaned and planted with these plants. They then worked hard to remove the first soil from the raised bed. Using small shovels, they first shoveled the soil into buckets and then tipped it into a large bucket in which the soil was to be temporarily stored.

The children were very active and highly motivated. After just over half an hour, the large bucket was filled to the brim. The children were visibly proud of the result. Mr. Zellner, who accompanied the campaign, was also delighted with their commitment and active support.

In the coming weeks, the raised bed will be moved to a new location. Everyone should be able to enjoy it there again in future. Mr. Krage has also already developed an idea for how the raised bed can be redesigned after the move. It will be interesting to see what it will soon look like in its new location.
