Today, the fourth grade took part in the decision to determine the school winner in the reading competition. One class winner from each of the three fourth classes took part: Lia from 4a, Paul from 4b and Laura from 4c.
The presentations were judged by a jury team consisting of Ms. Duesmann and Mr. Zellner. Both were faced with an extremely challenging task. Due to the strong performances of all participants, a close neck-and-neck race developed, which made the decision particularly difficult.

After intensive deliberation, Laura from class 4c was finally chosen and secured the title of school winner. All class winners received a small thank you for their special efforts.
The competition doesn't end here for Laura: on January 30, 2026, she will compete in the regional final at the Gronau public library. There she will compete against other winners from elementary school in Gronau and Ahaus.
