On Friday, 30.01.2026, the regional decision for the Borken 1 district took place in the Turbine music club of the Rock'n'Pop Museum in Gronau. Laura from class 4c competed for the Buterland School and faced the competition with a total of 14 other applicants.
The participating readers all put in very strong performances, resulting in an exciting and close neck-and-neck race. Despite her dedicated performance, Laura was unfortunately not able to secure a place on the winners' podium in the end. Nevertheless, Laura found the competition to be a very valuable and great experience. She was particularly pleased that she was able to support Marie and Justus from class 4c on site.
The staff at the Buterland School would like to congratulate Laura on her courage in taking part in the reading competition and to pay tribute to her commitment and perseverance.
