This is us
All employees at the Buterland School see themselves as a multi-professional team that complements each other and ensures that everyday school life runs as smoothly and pleasantly as possible.
Teachers, social pedagogues, our secretary, the janitor and the staff of the open all-day school (OGS) and after-school care (ÜMI) work hand in hand.
In addition to the personal success of each child, the well-being of the pupils is particularly important to us.
There are currently around 290 pupils in 12 classes at the Buterland School.

The Buterland School currently consists of a building, a container landscape and the schoolyard.
The upper floor of the container landscape is home to the 3rd and 4th years (classes 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4b, 4c). The first floor houses the secretary's office, the teachers' room and the janitor's room.

A new building was erected in 2002. The second-year classes are taught there. It also houses the music room and the recreation, work and play rooms for the two OGS groups, each with 25 children, as well as the rooms for after-school care (ÜMI).
Due to the current development regarding the conversion, there are containers in the school playground. The reason for this is that the school has had three classes since the 2021/2022 school year and is now to be converted. Our large school playground, which is mainly lined with oak, beech and lime trees, is home to play facilities for our children. These include:
- a climbing spider
- Gym bars
- one round and one square table tennis table
- Seating
- Basketball hoops
- Swings
- Soccer pitches
