How long does my child have to do homework?
The Ministry of Schools and Education of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia sets homework times for grades 1 and 2 at 30 minutes and for grades 3 and 4 at 45 minutes.
Children who attend the OGS usually do their homework there as well.
However, as a parent, you should still check the homework yourself. The reason for this is that the pedagogical staff there does not always have the time to check the homework for correctness. Nevertheless, every effort is made to ensure that the homework is checked.
