Excursion

Spring excursion of the OGS

The children and staff of the OGS had been looking forward to their trip to Haren an der Ems for a long time. They were excited about the park's attractions. Being able to try out the slides, the laser parkour, the trampolines, the climbing parkour, the bull riding and much more for a whole day was already evident in the conversations on the bus on the way there.

Although the outward journey was totally rainy, the rain clouds cleared on arrival and the day at "Schloss Dankern" got off to a good start. First we had breakfast. The children then split into small groups. One adult per group accompanied them around the park.

Everyone then met for lunch in the Deele (restaurant). Chicken nuggets and chips were served there for everyone. This was much needed after lots of exercise on the slides, climbing spiders and other attractions.

After the meal, the children had plenty of time to let off steam in the indoor play hall. The adults also got their money's worth there. There was the chance to race down the large slides together with the children. Everyone obviously enjoyed it. The laser parkour was particularly popular with the children.

Exhausted and partly asleep in the bus, everyone started the journey home. The children and accompanying adults really enjoyed this day.
