Shortly before the vacations, the pupils and teachers gathered together in the gym. Singing together is part of the "tradition" at Buterland School. The pieces of music had already been practiced diligently in the previous weeks in music lessons and in specially scheduled lessons. Under the musical direction of Ms. Dalhaus, everyone sings along happily and with confidence.
We heard songs such as I wish me a holy Christ or this little light of mine. The children were particularly taken with these songs. After the event, some of the pupils asked if they could sing these songs again in the new year. It would have been so much fun.
We wish everyone a peaceful time and a good start to 2024.
