Buterland gets in the mood for Christmas

Window decorations - paper snowflakes, reindeer made from coffee filters, and handmade elves

Last Tuesday (28.11.2023) was all about arts and crafts and Advent. The school classes made and designed small and large works for their classrooms and also Christmas presents for their parents. In the different school classes, the pupils created various works of art on the theme of "Christmas" and "winter". For example, colorful poinsettias were created in class 2a and Christmas elves in class 2b. In the third year, however, the focus in the classes was more on creating a joint Advent calendar.

Children, waiting for their Christmas tree

The fourth year even unpacked jigsaws and sandpaper.
The children are currently creating a Christmas present for their parents. What it will be, of course, is not yet revealed.

All pupils and teachers are looking forward to an atmospheric Advent season, Christmas and, especially for the children, snow.

We are looking forward to this contemplative time, which should get us in the mood for Christmas.
