The Buterland School as a guest at St. Antonius-Stift

During the Advent season, the third-year classes visited the St. Antonius-Stift at Gronau hospital. The classes practiced various songs in different languages in advance. But it wasn't just music that the residents of the home got to hear. The pupils also told the Christmas story. They also brought pictures to go with the story.

Children read a story

The residents of the monastery were visibly delighted by the musical performance and the story. However, they were particularly pleased with the small gifts from the children. The pupils made little houses. Tea lights can be lit in them and they glow colorfully through the transparent windows.

At the end of this activity, the pupils received a hot chocolate and a chocolate Santa Claus from the pen. They then set off on their return journey feeling particularly happy.

Once again, we would like to wish all residents of St. Antonius-Stift a wonderful Advent season, a Merry Christmas and a good start to 2024.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
