The last day of school is always a big event. All classes went to the entrance of the old building for the last time. This building is to be demolished in the coming school year and rebuilt from scratch. On the steps of the building, Ms. Hüning gave the big closing speech. This was followed by dance performances by the graduating classes. Each class had come up with something special for the graduation. Then the big send-off began.
The third year then presented their songs from the new school enrolment ceremony. This was particularly enjoyable for the fourth year, as they will not experience the new school enrolment. The grand finale was a dance with Aunt Rita. This delighted all the pupils and set the mood for a joyful vacation.
The staff of the Buterland School wishes all students, parents and everyone else a relaxing vacation, relaxation and a great start to the school year.
