As every year, the Gronau Jazz Festival opened with a special concert for primary school children. Once again, the third and fourth grades took part in the event.
Alma Naidu feat. Jakob Manz provided the musical prelude. The performance was characterized by special and diverse sounds, which were created with a deliberately reduced use of instruments. The vocals and instrumental passages were atmospherically accompanied by suitable lighting effects, enhancing the effect of the performance.
After the first half, there was an interview with the artists, which was traditionally conducted by the Kulturstrolchen. This year, however, the Kulturstrolche were no longer from the Buterland School. The interview was followed by a second part of the concert with further musical performances.
At the end of the event, the classes made their way back to school in glorious weather. The concert left a lasting impression on both the children and the school staff.
